Turn off that tape deck on your boom box, and pick up and play Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80's! Killer 80's soundtrack - pick up your axe and rock out to tracks ranging from New Wave to Hair Metal. Every song will have you tapping your feet and banging your head. Guitar Hero 2: Rocks the 80's puts 2 players closer to the rock experience, enabling players to play cooperatively with 1 person on lead guitar, and the second on bass or rhythm guitar. Great Game!

"It's A good game But I agree with the first reveiw... its Guitar hero 2 with just the GUITARIST in 80s outfits! and the songs r gud but not realy. Theres No ACDC and Their Album "Back in Black" came out in 1980 but No! No AcDc! Not even any Sabbath! It includes "Hold on Loosley" As Made Famous by .38 Special. "Holy Diver" As Made Famous by "Dio" "We got the Beat" By I dont know! Lol "What I like about you" Onc..." Read Full Review »

Please know what you're getting

"This is most certainly not worth the $50 price tag. It's like an expansion pack. There are only 30 songs. A few of the characters were removed. The unlock shop only has half of what it used to. The gameplay itself is still just as perfect as it was on GHII, and the song selection depends on personal preferance but I thought it was decent. It looks pretty good if you can turn on the progressive scan mode (480p). ..." Read Full Review »

Not quite worth the money.

"Guitar Hero: Rock the 80s is quite simply a thrown-together cash-grab effort. It's Guitar Hero 2 with some cheap 80s neon thrown in. Not only are there no new characters or venues, there are actually LESS than GH2. Ridiculous. Characters all have one new outfit, nothing more.

That's not to say it's …"  Read Full Review »

"Any Guitar Hero fan will be ecstatic at the release of a new game in the series (myself included), but I have to say I'm a bit dissapointed with Rocks the 80s. There are 30 main songs, that's it. Most hardcore GH players will probably beat the game the first day they get it (at least on one difficul …"  Read Full Review »
