"This is no replacement for a normal laptop/desktop. It satisfies mobile needs. I can play videos and multitask no problem. High Definition is a slight struggle and is not what this product is really marketed for. Although playing HD videos via HDMI out is better than on the native screen. "I just bought an AS1410 SOLO last month and yesterday it would not boot up at all. Called Acer tech support and they said send in for the warranty work on the notebook. The thing is I have to pay for the shipping and to send in their defective product. I have a ThinkPad T43p and when I needed to send it in for warranty work, Lenovo sent me a prepaid box and all I have to do is drop the box off at any UPS store..." Read Full Review »

"This is the best netbook I had so far. The screen is big and the machine is still small. It actually performs well with the core solo processor and the hardware is very much compatible with Linux. The only issue I have with it is that the touchpad picks up inadvertent presses when typing. "
