"it was good. However, after 4 months of ownership and perhaps 50 total hours of usage, it just broke on me. Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt (which is my fault) and don't know if I'll be able to get it fixed or replaced. For the money, hit another store and get a brand name piece. "

"bought 2 of these at the same time. One still works fine but the other is not reading all disks. will read some but not all. the ones it doesn't read work fine in the other DVD player so it is not a disk problem but a problem with the unit. Past warranty time so out of luck. Will not buy another. "
