"I gave a previous negative review which was wrong. I did not know that there is a soft plastic guard over the end of the connector which has to be removed before it can be used.
The connection makes a perfect fit. I like the protector covering the fiberoptic cable.

"This Toslink will not connect to either my Sony Amp or to the optical output of my Asus motherboard. I have another Toslink cable that makes a perfect connection. There must be different versions of Toslink. I thought it was a standard. "
